Ranger is one of the VERY elite few in the breed - a DUAL CHAMPION/Senior Hunter, following in his grandmother's footsteps.  He earned a Gun Dog major in horseback retrieving stakes, finished his Dual Championship owner-handled by winning a Gun Dog retrieving stake, & has four legs towards his Master Hunter title as well.

He earned his first few field trial placements at eight months of age, is a natural retriever, and a great companion and family dog too.  He won the Derby Stake at the American Pointer Club's Walking Field Trial in April, 2005 and finished his show Championship with back-to-back major wins.  He wrapped up his Senior Hunter title after earning his first field trial placements as a Gun Dog.  Ranger won the Amateur Gun Dog stake at the American Pointer Club's Walking Field Trial in Sept. 2008 and, in limited trialing, went on to earn the coveted DUAL CHAMPION title.

In 2011, to add to his achievements, this great dog was selected by the OFA to become the Pointer breed's first "OFA Champion of Health!"
